DO YOU SELL TO RESTAURANTS?
Yes. We are prepared to cater to private individuals as well as restaurants. Soon you will be able to find a special section in our website presenting our preferred addresses in Portugal.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM?
All our operations are headquartered in Lisbon. The wines are shipped directly from our cellar to your address once they are fully paid for.
ARE INVOICES TO BE PAID IN EUR?
Yes. All our invoices are denominated in EUR but we accept major international credit cards or bank transfers for the purchases delivered in Europe.
DO YOUR PRICES INCLUDE TAXES?
Yes, the prices displayed on the website are inclusive of VAT, with the exception of our en primeur wines, which are displayed ex-VAT.
DO YOU REQUIRE A PROOF OF DELIVERY?
Yes. We require our carriers to obtain a signature upon delivery for insurance reasons. Upon reception of the wines, it is the responsibility of the recipient to check the state of the goods and to note any issues concerning breakage, damage or missing goods on the delivery slip. If the delivery slip does not indicate any issues, BLOOD Wines is not obligated to provide compensation to the recipient for this order.
The signatory must be over 18 years of age.
HOW LONG WILL MY DELIVERY TAKE?
We arrange daily shipments from our cellar in Lisbon to Portugal and Europe.
We expect shipments to be delivered 72h after payment in mainland Portugal and 5 days after payment in the European Union. Once the order is ready for delivery, our local carrier will contact you to organise a delivery appointment according to your availability.
Deliveries take place Monday-Friday from 9am to 7pm.
CAN I RECEIVE DELIVERY ON THE WEEKEND?
Deliveries are only made during weekdays and business hours, according to the appointed day of delivery you take with our local carrier, as we require a signature upon delivery.
Deliveries can take place on the same day, including weekends, in the Lisbon region at specific rates by contacting us.
WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY COSTS?
For each order the delivery cost will be calculated depending on your location and the order amount. There will be no additional handling costs. For orders of more than €75 delivered in Portugal, the delivery cost will be free. For orders in Europe above €300, the delivery cost will be free.
En primeur wines
Delivery of your en primeur order to you address in mainland Portugal is free.
DO YOU SHIP IN ORIGINAL WOOD CASES?
If you order a quantity that is delivered from the producer in a wooden case, we will deliver your wines in the original packaging as provided by the producing estates.
WHEN WILL MY EN PRIMEUR WINE BE DELIVERED?
Once the wine is bottled and ready for delivery, usually more or less two years later, a final invoice will be sent to the customer for the remaining amount of VAT to be paid. We will also confirm your contact and delivery information.
WHAT ARE THE BEST WAYS TO ORDER?
If you have the opportunity to visit our shop in Lisbon, we will be delighted to welcome you.
The best way might be for you to place your orders through our website, but it is of course your choice. If you live in other parts of Portugal or abroad, our website is the best-in class way to order your wines.
